Session info

I am an all natural light photographyer.  My style of photography is casual and candid and I enjoy capturing you and your family being themselves, relaxed and interacting with each other.

Your session will take place in my home, or an outdoor location, such as a local park, downtown, or the beach at Aurora Reservoir, just to name a few possiblities.

Sessions generally take 1-2 hours .  Your session will not end until quality images are captured.

I will spend a few minutes getting to know your child before the shoot to make him/her feel more comfortable with me. Ideally, I’d like to get natural smiles out of your little one, so expect me to, act silly and make funny faces to get them!

For newborn session, please contact me during pregnancy to schedule a tentative date. Depending on the circumstances, I may be able to come to your home. Typically, newborns sessions last 3-4 hours to allow for time for your little one to feed, cuddle and fall into a nice deep sleep. I recommend leaving your day open for newborn sessions. Newborns are best shot prior to 14 days old.

Within a week following your session, I will post a sneak peek of a few photos on my blog.  In two weeks you will receive an email with a link and password for your private online gallery to view your proofs. Your gallery will be hosted for 30 days  allowing you time to decide which print or package option you would like. You may place your order via email or telephone. Payment must be made before your order will be placed for print. I accept cash, check or credit card by paypal.

My style of photography is contemporary casual, therefore I recommend keeping clothing simple and comfortable.

It is important to wear clothing that suits you and your child, but try to stay away from logo`s, small patterns and other distracting elements. Bright solid colors with jeans work great! If more than one person is being photographed, dress in similar or complementary colors.  Dress to coordinate, not to match exactly.

Newborns are often photographed naked. Try to dress babies in loose clothing to avoid having clothing lines on their skin. I have lots of props, but you are welcome to include a favorite blanket, lovey, or hat in the session.

You may wish to bring a few change of clothes for children, I offer unlimited clothing changes!

If you have any more questions don’t hesitate to ask!
